Meridian House tops out over Worli

The tower reached its full height of 212 metres in June, three weeks ahead of programme, with the garden void complete at level 28.

Meridian House reached its structural top-out on 24 June 2026, completing fifty-four storeys and 212 metres above the Worli sea face. The four-storey void at level 28 — the element that drove the entire scheme — is now fully formed and its garden planting begins in September.

The building was cast entirely in board-marked in-situ concrete against locally milled teak formwork, which has been dismantled and is now being remachined as interior joinery for the residences. Roughly 82% of the formwork by volume will return to the building.

Facade completion and internal fit-out run through 2027, with first handovers expected in the final quarter. Eighty-eight residences are planned; the building has no cladding system and no applied external finish above ground level.

The project is targeting IGBC Platinum certification, and is the first Aurelis tower designed without mechanical cooling in its primary living spaces.
